My strawberries seem to pollinate themselves, but you can hand pollinate them with a paint brush. I do that with my indoor cucumbers. denise

The newer green vines are too immature to root properly. Leve those as is for now.

The red vines on the strawberry plants are more developed so they can be rooted. I often throw a little dirt on top of them and they will root easily. Denise

HI, I'M NEW IN PLANTING STRAWBERRIES. I BOUGHT SOME POTTED PLANTS THAT GROW NO MORE THAN 8 TO 12 INCHES (PROBABLY). I WANT TO TRANSPLANT THE NEW RUNNERS BUT DON'T KNOW WHICH ONES. I GOT GREEN RUNNERS AND RED RUNNERS. I ALSO DON'T KNOW WHICH VARIETY OF STRAWBERRIES I BOUGHT. CAN YOU HELP ME WITH THIS ANIGMA? THANK YOU.
