Hi Raven,

I have never seen any additional flies in the area of a lasagna garden.

Many years I could not find or hire someone to plow the ground for me so this was the perfect solution. Its easy fast and improves the soil at the same time. Denise

Does the lasagna method attract a lot of bugs / flies to the sight - I have a big backyard with a space for the veg garden on the side - but don't want to make something that will bring a swarm of flies?

That actually is a great size for a lasagna garden. Just make sure you are getting more that 6 hours of sun for your plants.

I would grow plants that can be staked or trellised in the back to save on more space. Denise

I don't have a lot of room in my apartment and have a very small yard. I have a space about 2 foot deep by 8 foot long near the garage, would that work for a lasagna garden?

It does work well. although it sounds a little strange. Whats nice too is that its less work. I think the garden doesn't dry out as fast either. Denise
